the other night, i was up late, lonely and sad. i was looking others' artwork, and feeling like i had lost who i was. i'm gathering up the broken pieces, bit by bit. yesterday i made a commitment to draw something everyday.
i have requested the help of some friends, in an effort to keep me motivated. each day, i'm given an assignment, or something(s) to draw or sketch, and i do.
right: this is my first assignment from yesterday.

today i was given another photo to sketch, and it was yet again davey. no complaints. i gave him a tiny hint of color.
i am enjoying this.
i hope my notebook fills up quickly!
