there's ladders and snakes and we've all made mistakes

i started a new project. i know i have so many that i'm working on, but it's the only way i keep from being bored. i used a pen instead of a knife on my vinyl cutter to draw out a big big coloring book-like outline of jade playing his acoustic guitar. i'm going to fill in the shading with bits of printed paper cut from a magazine. i'm already gluey-sticky, and i barely started.

penny is painting another picture today. "yeah, you jealous" she said last time. she knows i think she paints better than i do.

we're both up here in the studio, working and dancing all silly to hunter revenge. i'm imagining jon (who looks just like hunter in the most uncanny way) dancing around singing in that prince-like voice... "'lectric....lover.... got-ta got-ta turn you on!" i'm laughing and loving it. i hope he reads this.

hehe. penny is singing, too. "who's gonna love you now?"
